It’s great to see the wonderful team at WOXY charting two of Heist’s releases in their top 97 of the year. Both The Answering Machine and Pomegranates made the top 20 when the run down was announced yesterday. Looking over the list you can really get a sense on firstly what a great year for music 2009 has been, but also what a great radio station WOXY is. Since the sad demise of Radio 1’s evening session and the tragic passing away of John Peel my life has largely been radio empty but WOXY has changed this for me and I’m so glad it has.
