Matt Abbott to join Howard Marks at The Hop
Matt Abbott from Skint & Demoralised is very pleased to announce that he will be performing his spoken word set supporting the legend that is former drug smuggler turned author, Howard Marks at The Hop in Wakefield on 8th February 2012. It’s likely to be an exciting, if somewhat smoke filled, evening. Remember to bring the munchies….

The nights are drawing in and the mulled wine’s a-flowing. Yes, Christmas is only 2 weeks away (may we take this opportunity to mention that our Online Store has lots of exciting present ideas for all the family!).Christmas is a time for reflection, so we figured it’d be the perfect time to catch up with all of our artists, and ask them what their favourite albums and singles have been in 2011.
Over the next 2 weeks, we’ll be posting all of our answers over on the Heist Or Hit blog (keep your eyes peeled for some Christmas gossip too!).
So, plenty more on the way! But for now, may we introduce our first artist, Sebastian from Simian Ghost.

A solution to the Euro Crisis?
The solution is Skint & Demoralised of course (after all, that’s what most of the Euro Zone feels at the moment)
Ever heard German spoken with a Wakefield accent? Well you lucky people can do if you are in Germany this weekend. Skint & Demoralised fly off in their rock star kitted out private Boeing 747 (well okay, a budget airline actually) to play two special shows for their German fans prior to a more extensive tour next year.
They play on Saturday 10th Dec at Wimp Club @ Ostpol in Dresden and on Sunday 11th Dec, they play the Full English Christmas Festival at Gretchen in Berlin.

On Monday 5th December, Heist Or Hit Records release the 2nd and final single to be taken from Letting Up Despite Great Faults’ critically acclaimed EP, ‘Paper Crush’. ‘Sophia In Gold’ will be released as a Free Download a week on Monday, with a special single package available to buy via iTunes, which includes a rather awesome remix by the one and only Simian Ghost.
